advanced testing

The following tests will be performed on most but not all patients:

Keratometry

A measurement of the curve of your cornea for contact lens fittings.

Depth perception

A test of your 3-D vision.

Color vision

To test if you are colorblind or color deficient.

Computerized corneal mapping

To detect abnormalities that might interfere with laser surgery.

Blood pressure

An important test for both general and eye health.

By performing these tests, Dr. Ni is testing for hundreds of eye and general health conditions. Among these conditions are glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed eye), corneal dystrophies, neurological disorders, as well as many others.
